The basic material for this is a simple blinn shader with a noise map in the diffuse slot ..no big deal.. So I decided to multiply that noise with the now famous plateox2.jpg map you can find in all the good 3d packages, it gives a nice sense of rusty metal if you know how to apply it correctly 9 think i 'm gonna tell you ? well, dream ! ) |

| Okays, i'll pass you the details...the mesh is not 37 000 polytons which means i have a good reserve of 100 000 more polys to finish the model..which isn't bad considering that any newbie like you ( YES YOU ! *points finger at the guy reading* ) would already be at around 130 000 polygons now, because you just don't know about that super cool technique for adding details without adding the bad useless polygons :) |

Not much here, just building another central part, with the name of the ship on it ... takes time to build these panels from scratch but it looks cool anyway .. |
Just look at this, this is just a tiny part of the whole model ... impressive how it is detailed, and all built from scratch , this part must be around 100 polygons in total ... Added to the central part it gives some great depth and a good sense of " I really kicks major ass"..:) |

I know what you're thinking.. " How the hell can he come up with such cool looking stuff everyday ?" .. well what do u reckon man ... it's just me :).. polycount around 70 000 right now ... 70 000 more to go before the end of the ship :) |
