a mix of particles and 2D explosions mapped on several planar objects did the trick.. |

The phaser thingy effect was done using 2 supersprays , with of course the appropriate overkill amount of glow :) |

The Neggie again, this time firing a bunch of torpedos and distuptors...don't mind the lens flare, i was drunk and watching Babylon 5, that's why it's there... |
The Decloaking Bastard ( TDB ), now that was an interesting animation to setup, i did it in 2 passes.one pass with the background alone ( stars + nebula thingy ) , another pass with the ship on a planar object, with alpha opacity and all the stuff...now that doesn't explain the ripple effect...
The ripple thingy was done by adding some noisy bump mapping on the planar object on which i had the ship animation going...yeah, i'm a genius i know :) |

Ah, this one is a legend.The "Cooked" Excelsior...i was bored and i decided to be the guy who did the best Trek ship damage ever, so naturally i used maps to do it, and booleaned a big chunk out of the saucer :) |

Ah, one of my best.An original Klingon design hehe, doesn't happen everyday...but yeah this one is cool, the "Ship of Death" i called it...i wonder why, it looks small and weak :) |

No big deal.Simple Avenger shot, en route for a 5 years mission to meet some easy plots & some big borg boobies in the delta quad..heh ! |
